  1. The IAU program adjusts your hard disk interleave.  To use the program, you 
  2. should copy all .DOC files to your current subdirectory (or to one which is 
  3. referred in to the PATH= variable).  Also copy the IAU.EXE program to the same 
  4. place.  
  5.  
  6. When you run IAU.EXE, you can optionally specify an interleave value on the 
  7. command line, i.e., 
  8.  
  9.                                      IAU 3 
  10.  
  11. The default is 5, and was set for that value for use with streaming tape 
  12. drives.  
  13.  
  14. The source code has been included for those who are interested.  It compiles 
  15. under Turbo 'C', and should work with Microsoft 'C' pretty well.
